We are excited to announce that #Arkki has been selected as a 2020 #WISEAwards finalist.
The WISE Awards recognise and promote the most innovative and impactful projects from across the world. This year, we’re among the 15 finalists from 10 countries selected for our approach to tackling global educational challenges. Arkki was selected among 625 submissions evaluated according to strict criteria and is the only finalist coming from the Nordic countries.
15 projects coming from 10 countries, have been shortlisted by a pre-Jury of international experts. This year 625 projects have applied or been nominated for the WISE Awards.
The innovative projects tackle a number of pressing educational issues including: implementing early childhood education; promoting social-emotional learning for early years; teaching of 21st century and entrepreneurship skills; providing education to marginalized and vulnerable populations; improving teacher training and motivation; fostering reading; democratizing sign language education; promoting legal education and nurturing global citizens among the future generations.
The 15 finalists projects are currently undergoing an innovation assessment before being reviewed by the WISE Awards Jury. The six winning projects will be announced in October.
